My server was down for a few days because I shut it off.
I attempted to connect to my server one morning as I always do, when I realized that my SSH connects were not working.
Unfortunately, I have been working for several important auditions these past few weeks, and so I didn’t have any time to fix the problem.
I suspected something might be up, and even though everything looked fine (of the things I could get to), I didn’t want to take any chances. So I shut down the server until I could deal with the problem properly.
Today, I finally had some free time, so I was able to discover that the issues only came from some improper firewall configuration (luckily nothing that affected security, just made it hard for me to get in). So my server and website are now back online.
I apologize if anyone found this annoying (I doubt this will be many). I don’t plan on doing it again in the future.
